Season is a failure flat out if they don't win it all. They'd admit that themselves. I do respect them wanting to win every game and go down as an all-time great team if they push through for the record. No reason for them not to for real. As stretched out as the first round is they'll get plenty of time to rest then. Especially if they can get a first round over in 5 or sweep.

I see what you're saying but honestly if the Warriors win it all they're not just 'one of', but the all-time great squad. If they go 74-8 and the title, what team in history was better, especially considering they would have beaten a team that won ~67 games in a series?

I know I'm being critical of the wording, but it really is what it is.

Plus with all the rest they got in the season, that's going to be a pretty big boost to them while other teams are worn out badly by this time.
