I'm way less offended by a three-month reign that gave us decent (though unspectacular) matches and quality promos... than a TEN-MONTH reign by a MF that should have never even been considered to headline that many PPVs. Granted, maybe they were tryin some kinda Honky Tonk Man shyt where his neverending reign made people love whoever finally won it, but that year was cringe after cringe. Then you throw in the forever mediocre Bashams and Orlando Jordan getting crazy TV time... oh hell no... no... JBL wins this easily.
And then, Diesel... who was dope as fukk all the way up until the point he won the belt... then spent a whole year as a seven-foot Joey Lawrence in leather, and arguably the FIFTH most popular face on the roster.

Not even close, the Dean hate is getting a bit corny at this point. He had some sloppy matches but two great ones with AJ and Rollins. And the vast majority of his promos were money - especially the ones with Ziggler.
It didn't live up to expectations but the worst ever? Sheamus was champion not even a year ago. It was bad. The MIz's run was bad. Orton's recent run with the authority was so boring. etc.

Sheamus was a champion for a month and wasn't even the main focus of the story. Dean was the champ for months and built as the face of a brand. Dean's run flopping the way it did and being so unmemorable is far worse than Sheamus' run.

No goal posts being moved. A dude given a huge push and being a face of a brand having a terrible reign for months is worse than a dude having the title for 3 weeks just to get it back to Roman. There's no way around that.
