"dru world order" and "hot n wet" were released in closer to the same time period. THATS THE POINT.
also, youre ignoring the sisqo stuff.

what part of IT DOESNT F*CKIN MATTER WHO LINGERED AROUND LONGER DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? 112 could've stuck around for 10 more years and they prolly still wouldn't have topped dru hill. LOL. does busta rhymes rank higher than big daddy kane to you??

im not searching 13 pages for a small quote homie. I got too much going on in life. and like I said, you saying 1999 just a few posts up, is just as dumb.

as for the bolded, you obviously don't understand what im saying. and im sure babyface himself would agree with me.

1. Breh, it doesn't matter. There is a difference of one year and some change between Part III and Dru World Order (third album for the respective groups) There is a little over a year difference between Dru World Order and Hot & Wet. You are in here trying to move goal posts to make Dru World Order look better.

2. If it doesn't matter what is the point of this debate. YOU QUOTED ME. My initial point was that Dru Hill had a shorter run, which is a fact. If it doesn't matter, do everyone a favor and stop re-opening this thread every week with the same garbage.

3. You got too much going on, yet you find time out of your busy schedule to reply to posts in a Dru Hill thread every week. :russ:. You can't this stuff up.

4. I'm sure Babyface would be laughing as hard as I am as you try to say he wasn't part of that sector, when he wrote like 2-3 of their biggest songs.

1.) BE SMART SON.
singles from "dru world order" and "hot and wet" were dam near out at the same time in 2003.

2.) their run really wasn't any shorter than 112's. the only difference is that 112 had an album that did nothing, then they came back a couple years later and had an okay run in '05, so their chit was just spread out more. at the end of the day, they both had the same amount of relevant projects coming out of their camps. dru hill did it bigger tho, and its not even debatable.

3.) well if it takes me a whole week to reply to your post, then yea it sounds like I have too much going on to search thru 13 pages for a small insignificant quote of yours. LOL. you just broke it down for yourself and didn't even realize it. BE SMART SON.

4.) babyface was on the borderline of the old & new guards. he had contributed some of the more crossover hits for the new guard, but he was never really of the hip-hop influenced variety. I don't know why you make everything so difficult.

1. Dru Hill did not have singles out during the same time as 112 had singles for their flopped album. They dropped "I Love You" at the top of 2003. 112 dropped their lead for Hot & Wet near the bottom. Again, you're moving goal posts.

2. Dru Hill's run was shorter. 112 had three consecutive successful albums from 1996-2001 and one that was semi successful in 2005. Dru Hill had two successful albums from 1996-1998 and one that was semi-successful in 2002.

3. No if you had that much going on, you wouldn't continue running back to this thread to argue over something you just finished saying "doesn't matter", yet here you are.

4. Breh, he was still of the same sector because the new guards still had him producing and writing their records. You trying to apply Hip Hop theory to R&B when it doesn't work like that. In R&B, writers and producers controlled the sound. You could have a legacy act come through with their biggest records in the 90's in the midst of Hip Hop influenced R&B.

1. dru hill had a 3rd single.
112 had singles out months before that album dropped.
I don't think there were videos for any of this. but they almost over-lapped each other.

2. im not wasting time arguing with you about that anymore. you clearly just don't WANT to get it at this point.

3. what?? :what:

4. you don't get it.
at least youre legitimately not understanding what im saying with this one.
