Put it to you like this...who wants to play Dru Hill in 2020? Lol. I play AZ, Jodeci, AZ Yet, Silk, Sam Cooke, Luther Vandross..even Kelly Clarkson got a ton of catchy ass hits from those first two albums. But Dru Hill? They like Ja Rule...keep their ass in the trash can.

Nah what the fukk are you talking about!!

Az yet? Kelly Clarkson???

At their height, they had like two successful albums. Then Sisqo went solo as a major success with one album. They came back together in 2002 with a new album and a new member, but it was nowhere near as eventful as the first two albums or Sisqo's solo. They even had a reality show leading up to their fourth album, which was independent.

In the grand scheme of things, they just weren't what Boyz II Men, Jodeci, 112, or Jagged Edge were in terms of groups. These groups had at least 3 hit albums while Dru Hill struggled after the second album. Even with Sisqo's massive first album, he wasn't able to sustain success as a solo artist.

Those cats shouldn't be in any discussion, breh's had one dope track and that was their first single.

Nobody's saying Dru Hill wasn't great. When I think of Dru Hill, I think of late '90's R&B. Post 1999, I can guarantee none of you could name a song (group or solo) without Google.

Jagged Edge and 112 were still going strong in the '00's and they debuted around the same time as Dru Hill.

Being that I was in hs for their first two albums and a freshmen in college when Sisqo dropped his debut and I’m from Baltimore I can say that was a special time. They had a ton or huge hits and two classic album. Far from below average. They were a great group but I think Sisqo having a solo fukked up their momentum as a group

Kelly Clarkson got alot of nonstop hits..I was just letting Pandora play her shyt last week..all of it's real catchy and she can definitely sing her ass off. Not to mention she was walking around with a juicy ass for years..way more ass than Beyonce has ever been close to having.

I will admit they made songs that sound the same, but you saying "The Way You Walk" is their only dope song when they had:

I Gotta Be (template for pretty much every single they had)

He Can't Love You

Let's Get Married

Let's Get Married (JD Remix)

Keys To The Range

Promise
