Listen, the most dominant player in the generation in which most of our current players grew up in was a team player. He preferred to stuff the stat sheet over gunning for 50. As a result, the league has spawned a lot more versatile players. Similarly, the most dominant player in the era prior was an absolute gunner of a wing in Jordan...and he spawned an entire generation of Kobe's T-Mac's, VC's, etc and changed guard play forever.
