the 90's nostalgia clouds peoples judgement....everything seems bigger when you were a kid.

Similar to the Lebron Iverson argument

OP is absolutely right, hopefully Bryce is next to take the throne.
Too bad, Selig and the rest of the MLB are too stupid to capitalize it. :sadcam:

One of the main reasons why I watched baseball in the 90s. Cool dude, stayed out of trouble, and had game. I remember him on that episode of Fresh Prince, dissin Will b/c his girl fought a battle for him. Thought will should have snuffed him lol.

Me and my friends had this discussion we came to the conclusion he's the Mickey Mantle of our generation. I had his swing replicated down to a tee anytime my friends would try to immulate it I would laugh that they couldnt really do it since they werent lefties. I'm a diehard Yankee fan and I had a shyt load of Mariners gear and they were somewhat of rival to the Yankees at the time.

the Kingdome was a POS, Pinella was a dikk...all of their hitters killed us.

Edgar was basically Manny to us back then.
