Show me all the other Yankees of the past 30 years with even 1/3rd the national popularity and endorsement money Jeter has. I'll wait.
You dont think the money has to do with the era he is playing in? You expect me to find a yankee making more endorsement money from 80s? :usure:

You won't find a Yankee making his money even in terms relative to his era. Why isn't A-Rod caking like Jeter? Why isn't Tex even caking like John Wall off endorsements? At the time he was a top 10 1b who went to the Yankees - automatically makes you a cash cow, right?

Just accept Jeter>>>>>the bilderberg group

Who is the better player? :pachaha:

Jeter is. Position scarcity. Top 3 Shortstop off all time. Got his 3,000th hit on a homerun during a 5-5 day. 5-5 like his 5 rings. Most hits in the history of the greatest franchise in the history of American sports.

:umad:

He don't just shine he illuminates the whole show. :obama:

Speaking of video games... Does anybody know which athletes was on the cover the most?

It might come down to Kobe Bryant... Derek Jeter or Hulk Hogan

It would be one thing if you cited playing shortstop if you were discussing one that was good to great at the position but unfortunately for Jeter his UZR has never been consistently good. Too bad.

Sure Puljos and Bonds were just as good, but I dont think there's ever been a Baseball player who reached the popularity of Griffey across all genres.

dude was all over the commercials in the 90s, the "Griffey For President" Nike campaign with Lil Penny back in 96 was epic, nikka was even on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air :win:

he was the last of a dead breed brehs :jawalrus:

That's probably why they keep talking about the lack of Black American baseball players every damn year.

over the past 10-20 years, how many baseball players have even been big in commercials?

Jeter
Griffey
Piazza had a bunch (pert plus commercial *shudder*)
I dont even remember if Arod did
I think Utley had one
Ryan Howard does Subway ads (but so does Jay Glazer... the fukk is that about?)
McGwire and Sosa did some
did Chipper ever have any?
Nomar?
Randy Johnson had a few
I cant even think of anymore. makes no sense that baseball players aren't all over commercials

Verlander has gotten at least 3 lately

Joe Mauer.

Those Pepsi Max commercials.

Brian Wilson.
