West coast side is classic, I like 2 songs from the east coast side.

it was too ambitious a move to make his debut a double album

I agree because even though he had some CLASSICS on there like We Can Freak It and C-Walk....2nd album was way better and his 3rd and 4th albums got just as much burn due to the production because by that time he was really disappointing on the mic. I got Kuruption on release day if not before because I was working at record store around that time.

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
There was an anticipation that was impossible to live up to but he didnt do himself any favors making in a double album.

2Pac fukked up the game by making a Rap double album seem easy.

He was just repping his East Coast side, though. And I agree Streetz Iz A Mutha is his magnum opus. But his debut is hated but for no reason

Aside from some standout songs, the production was mediocre af. It’s definitely hated for a reason lol.

It’s all good though, without the growing pains and learning experience we might not have gotten a classic follow up like β€œStreetz iz a mutha”
