Have you ever listened to the original songs that these artists remake?
I usually do. Isley Brothers did a better cover of Chicago's song back in 2001

Go and listen to the remakes of these Leadbelly songs. Then listen to Leadbelly again.I usually do. Isley Brothers did a better cover of Chicago's song back in 2001![]()
I seen the comments, alot of grasping at straws![]()
THEY STOLE FROM JEWS TOO
JUST ALL AROUND SCUMBAGS

They stole from black artists but they also stole from white artists. Jimmy Page stole Dazed and Confused from a white american folk artist.

Just in case though
beatles actually seemed to have some respect. their cover of the isleys twist and shout was huge, and they demanded to meet their motown favorites when they came to america. beatles openly showed love for their influences. led zeppelin meanwhile will re-write an old willie dixon song and change it just enough so they didnt have to pay him. rolling stones were upper class wealthy art school kids (just like pink floyd) but the beatles were rough lower class kids. jimmy page is a fukking weirdo. like epstein list kind of weirdo. into some weirdo black magic shyt too![]()

Im familiar with him and the group from studying Music history. Was never into their music. Throws me off how the comment was hidden, as though it never happened.
Same as Eric Clapton.
White media editors protected their heroes, and the corporations who own and benefit from their content.
At the end of the day, underneath all the so-called admiration, MFers are typical racists.

And the Jews weren't out here stealing publishing and collecting non-existant songwriting credits from black artists during the "Race Records" Era?
