the west was gawwd awful in the 80's

the east was a power house conference, for the celtics to make 5 trips to the finals showed how dominant and good they were.

pistons, bucks, sixers, cavs, bulls (late), hawks were all better then the trash LA romped to the get to the finals. sonics, spurs, rockets, mavs, jazz, etc..

Magic became a better shooter and more polished player...year after year. He had very few flaws, no more than Bird.

lol i dont buy it, the same isht happened with the 2000-2002 lakers. their competition was always tougher in the western conference, but they trashed the east coast teams in the finals. that tough road should sharpen the teams up, not weaken them. same as the san antonio spurs.

• unathletic
• could not jump
• average ball handling ablity
• had limited range from the perimeter
• he couldnt guard ANYBODY
