Nope. I guess people just couldn't get used to his voice, but he was not bad at all imo. I remember that one track he held his own with Hov and Twista.
First time most people heard him was Up Jump The Boogie and he was spitting some of the wackest shyt ever. And the rest of his shyt was average at best so...yeah he was that bad
He was better than 75% of the no limit roster...
He is better than a huge proportion of the commercial pill popping mumble rappers today.
The albums with Timberland also hold up very well.
Magoo had his moments, but if you're getting outshines by Timbaland's lyrics on a song, that answers the question. Still, I don't think Magoo took himself too seriously on the mic. He even said he wouldn't make an album without Timbaland. I don't know what happened on "Party People", but his verse was crazy. He also shined on "Deep In Your Memory".
