I'm laughing at the G-Unit soldiers on this site rushing to say 'No' or make up bullshyt about their business.
MMG was a very successful label, and Ross actually created a couple stars with Meek and Wale, both of which were lost prior to Ross signing them. Meek was signed to TI before Ross and that went nowhere cause TI went to prison, and Wale was a failed new artist over at Interscope. 50 would've never let his artists shine and potentionally become bigger than him like Ross did with Meek and Wale.
French Montana, Gunplay, Stalley, Rockie Fresh, and Omarion all benefitted from MMG's success too. I would argue Ross and Diddy were critical in French Montana's transition from underground to mainstream.
Ross almost signed Nipsey and Dom Kennedy too, and could've took their careers to the next level very early on, but they both wanted to remain independent.
