He was wilding on Jack Frost. 1994-1997 Ras Kass was an alien lyrically. Because he rapped super duper nerd rap lyrically in terms of all the technical proficiencies (punchlines, metaphors, wordplay, large vocabulary, rhyme schemes) but he also rapped about relevant social and political topics that represented the black plight. That's why I say he's the best ever lyrically at his peak. He wasn't over here coming up with metaphors about Dinosaurs and being a Hamburger like Lupe, and he wasn't rapping some intergalactical space ship alien bars like Canibus. It was real life shyt women, crooked police, inner-city struggles, gang banging, crooked government, racism, censorship, making money, etc...

Was in college when the shyt dropped. Was glued to the Source and the campus radio at the time waiting, anticipating the release of the shyt...

Was goin to school in the middle of fukkin no where. Had to pre order the tape just to make sure I got the shyt on that day, bruh it was that serious.

Puttin heads on this album at school when it dropped. Cousins, potnas back home, who's first time it was hearing Nature Of The Threat, On Earth, Order Out Of Chaos, Reelhism, Sonset, SOI, Miami Life, Marinatin, Evil That Men Do...

Remain Anonymous is another that could have made it and not missed a beat. His unreleased stuff around that time was pure flames. Album is a classic as is but some of those that did not make the album were nice.
