Nature Of the Threat and Ordo Abchao made a 12-year old learn how demonic the CaC Greeks, Xmas, and the United Health Organization was/is:scusthov:
Repped for reminding me that Death Certificate had a similar impact on me when I was 11.
I wonder what album is having that sort of impact in 2014? Migos :mjlol:

Ordo Abchao had me like :dwillhuh: :mindblown:, lyrically and content wise the album was great but he coulda used better beats.

Honestly, Ras Kass was almost as important an artist for me to hear as Pac was in regards to my views on society and the world. Shame what became of him like @Blackking mentioned.

I don't get the lackluster beats argument with Soul on Ice. To me, the beats were perfect for the album. Only thing I would change is the beat for the title track should have been the video version (Diamond D beat, right?).

Great album. Classic without a doubt but it's not flawless. It had a few tracks I didn't feel, but the majority was just :wow:

Beats fit the tone of the project but they were still lackluster. its the ras kass lyrical show here and thats what was on display. i dont hate the production, half is good to great half is kinda dull and boring.

still on my goat list.

nah... it's a tough question though because it depends on what you're looking for or judging by.

Soul On Ice is far from flawless... but I think that's what makes it crazy. The more important part of the album is what he was talking about; not the music. shyt is a classic tho.

and I agree with @Raymond Burrr about the pre-release... Ras always got fukked before his shyt dropped. But even still... banger.

I used to hate the production on it too. Then I went back and listened to it in the gym like two weeks ago and was absolutely loving the production minus a couple of songs. I could've done without Marinatin' too. Still one of my all time favorite albums regardless.

never thought the production was that special outside of a few tracks but certainly one of the most lyrical displays ever. evil that men do is my favorite track.
