That shyt was so dope. Marbs and Kobe going at it at the end of the game. Them niqqas continued going at ita a week later in NJ. :wow:

That was overall my favorite season ever (obviously based off of me being an A.I. stan), tied with the 2006-07 season (based off of me being a Baron Davis stan). I remember that Lakers-Nets game (and Steph catching an oop), and I remember the 76ers-Lakers game where the Sixers won because that's when I decided Philly was truly legit. Philly started 10-0 that year and had their confidence on 1000+. I'd gotten my first real girlfriend and was a starter on the varsity basketball and soccer teams. Damn, memories and nostalgia... I'm sorry, I gotta shed a tear y'all. :to:

I'm not going to say the players today aren't competitive, but it's a different type of competitive energy. A lot of the stars today are just too cool for school, I can't imagine a celebration in the all star game like those guys in the OP video. just skip to 12:34 and watch

Mutumbo's excitement made this game seem so real. Still my favorite all star game. The east was pretty much shyt on prior to that game because all of the great bigs were on the West squad.

I agree with this. There is as much if not more talent but these new nikkas is boring as fukk.

naw, there's alot of good players, but not ELITE... they had Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, Garnett, AI, Vince, T-Mac, Kidd, Payton etc all in their primes..

today's NBA has what? Curry,Westbrook, Durant? an aging LeBron, Wade, Melo? etc then what?

:mjcry: I for real dropped a tear watching this shyt. Where has my youth gone. To see kg fly like super man is the highlight of my day.

I think part of the reason why we don't feel this same excitement is cause of social media and the Internet, we end up knowing way to much about the players, and most of them don't even have personality like them dudes did. Man these were the stars that carried the league right after mj retired, I mean have steph, but who is going to step up wit him to carry the league once bron calls it quits or turns extra flabby :yeshrug:

As long as their game is exciting why do you care if they are boring personality wise? Stop sounding like a bytch
