Never thought about it this way.

Between this and "A Dream" Jigga always been low key disrespectful to Big since his passing lol. How you gonna have a song where Biggie comes to you in a dream, and instead of him asking how his kids are doing, or how his moms is doing, he just tell Jigga how great he is.

cant compare this to wayne.

jay was coming off of the classic reasonable doubt, and people were expecting him to grab the torch with volume one.
the expectations were already there, and this song was prolly made to address that. but jay dropped the ball with volume one, and its still stuck in the sophomore slump sector of albums.
