For a while, but you gotta admit shortly after that phase Wayne wanted to be down with Dipset BADLY. Once he started fukking with Juelz n em his whole style switched up real quick...he was using their dress, their slang, even their flows.

Dude asked me about why Wayne was rapping about coke and the correct answer is Clipse, not Dipset. If you really want to be truthful, Clipse had Dipset wearing Bape, too. Wayne had a year where he was doing the whole Dip thang but let's not act like they weren't talking about trappin, making remixes to Southern rap classics, swagging and riding in chevys. Dipset jacked just as much Southern shyt as Wayne copied off them.
