When I was in high school, everybody was on this guy's nuts.
I never listened to his music so I'm sure he's good. I just think it's funny that as much as my classmates hyped him up, he really didn't last long.
His music irritates me now, but at the time I thought he'd be a more mainstream Lupe.

Man that 100s shyt still fukks me up till this day. That Ice Cold Perm tape was a fukkin banger front to back. He was in that Sex/Life show on netflix but just for a episode.him an 100's

I think a close comparison of a one hit wonder that really had a smash/mainstream hit that was then exploited by someone else would be Trinidad James
Yeah, but I'll say at least Trinidad James had a legit single and an album that one could listen to, nothing spectacular but it kind of go the ob done. Desiigner was an imposter from the very beginning, a Future clone that got lucky to get his hands on a hard beat and that VASTLY overachieved. Acting all agitated only to cover the lack of any actual talent. It was a joke he even had some semblance of success in the first place.
He's a classic one-hit wonder, music history is littered with that story
iLoveMakkonen foolishly signed with oVo only for Drake to take his song and get released. Came out the closet and no one cared only to have to watch Lil Nas X get the career he wanted. Started a beef with Dj Akademiks, got shyt on so bad he deleted all his socials and had people so worried for him NBA Youngboy asked Dj Akademiks to leave him alone.
Also OG Maco got popular with bytch U Guessed It, went on to hate his own song because that's all fans wanted to hear from him and he felt it was a trash song. Last I heard from him it looked like he was partially blind and had sores all over his face, shyt was bad people were saying he had a House In Virginia. I actually listened to a mixtape of his and he wasn't wrong, he did have other quality music, I think he should've rode the wave and played nicer with others
I think the problem with many artist who've been named is they had a hit that ran away from them without first establishing a fanbase.
