Was Total Recall the worst remake of all time?

I'm waiting to see the new Robocop. Based on the trailers, it has that same "doing a remake to collect a paycheck" type feel.

I'll have to think about this. At least with this remake I watched the movie all the way through. As bad as it was, I could get through it. I have no problem turning off a movie half way through. I don't need that closure on some "well I've watch it, might as well finish it."

Nightmare on Elm Street IMO was the worst, but I have an attachment to those movies I didnt have with the original Total Recall

I wouldn't say its the worse remake. It was boring and flat but not one of the worse. Nightmare on Elm St, Arthur, Black Christmas, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Fog, Godzilla, Get Carter, House of Wax, The Hitcher...I can go on and on

I expected the new Robocop to be as sterile and boring as the Total Recall remake.
Thankfully it's much better, even though it's not touching the OG version.
