Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
When Morey actually put a team around Yao, we advanced and was a team to be reckoned wiht. I always say we wouldve beatened the lakers if Kobe didnt take Yao out that series.

Props to Kobe. He did what he had to do.

Yao biggest tradegy was JVG and Carrol Dawson. JVG refused to tank that year Yao and TMac went down and then he refused to reform his rostter to contemporary NBA standards. He brought all these old has ben nigguhs around Yao(and TMac) named Juwan Howard, Jon Barry, David Wesley, Ryan Bowens, wouldnt play Steve Francis,.

Trading Rudy Gay for Battier was just moronic, even if Rudy ain't the greatest player he would have given the Rockets that 3rd scorer they desperately needed.

what about against the other 28 teams?

David Robinson used to own Hakeem in his regular season matches but do we remember those?

:wtf: Did Dwight and Yao have a playoff matchup that I forgot about? Horrible comparison.

Yao was more skilled in the block and thats it.

Yao was really slow and horrible defending the pick and roll.
 @ Being more skilled on the low block being shrugged off. You could actually run your offense through Yao since he was a good passer, and could play him in the 4th quarter of close games.

And yet those Rocket teams were always top 10 defensively. Plain and simple, when they played one another Yao absolutely shytted on him.

That nikka has abused you for 58 games, hurt you and made you wonder about the future, that nikka is no good for you and you talking bout taking him back?

I know man. I'm disappointed in myself.

Da gawd told him to get right and he did though. We're so bad without him on the floor too. So confused. :sadbron:

Yao? Get out of here.

The last great center was Shaq. Shaq was not only the last great dominate big man on offense, but could also affect a game on defense when he wanted to and when he felt like it.

the 2010 Magic were top 10 in both offense and defense... while it being centered around both in both areas. :ld:

:whoa: If we are talking centers it's one thing but if we are talking big men this gentleman has something to say about that:

The thread is about centers and I don't really consider Duncan a center. I consider him more of a PF.
