"To Pimp A Butterfly" is one of the most Inspiring albums to ever come out. It spoke to me when I had first heard it, not in any way that any album had ever really spoken to me. I never thought that I could get into Nerd Rap like that. It could've been shorter but most albums ever released probably could be in some way.
The instruments, the keys, the change-ups in the pattering of tha shyts. The slickness of tha messages in the songs, the fact that he wasn't just rappin the usual "I came up hard, I'm from the streets, I'm poor, I need to eat" raps was super refreshing. Like thank you for saying this in a way I never heard before. He fell back a little on "90059" but, eh
But like I said before, they're (The JDL) is trying to censor this album. They don't like it because it does just that, it Inspires. He puts things into perspective in a way that FHD didn't. Even though Kendrick had a little more time to put out the album, I feel like it's a notch or two above FHD just based on the content alone, let alone the way the album was Produced
