Over the last 50 years, the deck has been progressively stacked more and more against white, middle-class men, and the middle-class in general. Over that period of time, I have watched "the dream" erode and go from "equal opportunity to all who work hard" to "equal outcomes for all, no matter how hard (or little) you work". The downward spiral continues and seems to be near the end ... where we hit rock bottom.

The rationale might be false but the fear is very real along with the bullets and consequences that come with it
We are beginning to witness what happens when a super majority (in terms of power and numbers) begins to have their monopoly challenged. And not necessarily thru the faults of anyone but natural progression in terms of reproduction, population growth, education, people waking up etc.
Let's see how far they'll go to continue to keep the playing field uneven in their favor.
