:heh: at core strength being the key to a title.

:aicmon: :stopitslime: :comeon:

I swear some of you motherfukkers are THE MOST reading comprehension-deficient a$$holes EVER.

WHERE THE fukk did I say it helps you win titles, dikkhead? I said it helped Jordan never get injured again, which came from HIS OWN MOUTH, and then posted proof of that. So what the fukk is your fukking beef?

Get the fukk outta here.

I think what he was trying to say that Jordan getting stronger and bigger was the key to the Bulls winning because the Pistons couldnt just beat him up and knock him around anymore. He could withstand the physical tactics that Detroit used against him

Exactly.

fukk that dude, he just wants to argue.

:whoa: No need to get angry my friend. :umad: (Couldnt' resist :troll:)

But seriously this right here sounds and awful lot like you are drawing a connection between core strength and winning. As a matter of fact there is no real other way to take that. If that wasn't what you were trying to say then fine but I really don't know what else you would expect a person to take from that.

It's no coincidence that, after working on his core strength, they FINALLY beat the Pistons. :manny:

He was still dropping 30-40 with them knocking him around. The key was the rest of the team developing around him. If Pippen and Grant and co. don't develop Jordan coulda been Hercules out there and still woulda been copping L's.

Im not denying that I completely agree, the strides that Pippen and Grant made were important in Chicago finally beating Detroit. Even before Chicago finally won in 91 you can make a case that those Bulls teams in 89 and 90 were just as good as the Pistons teams who won those titles.

Those games were purely physical/mental though. Detroit knew they could beat MJ up, they knew they could push Pippen around and he would lose his focus and check out of the game. Dennis Rodman used to be in Scottie's head 24/7 Detroit used to punk Chicago on the regular and they knew they could do it and it would work.

But once MJ started getting swole (n/h) and getting stronger and basically told Detroit he wasnt taking that shyt no more  the whole team really followed suit and had the mentality to take out that team

Okay, cool. My bad for wording it improperly, then.

My original point was, Rubio needs to bulk up. Yes, you are correct that a broken foot or an ACL tear can be freak accidents that have nothing to do with core training, but as Jordan's former trainer himself said in that article, you DECREASE the likelihood of injury (and particularly, reinjury) by doing such training.

That's all I was saying.

14 made field goals from 14 games
0 from 11 on 3 pointers
Averaging 4 points on 24% shooting
Getting benched for JJ in the 4th -

And this is with whom Minny wants to place their faith in?

Still not 100% yet (hence why he still doesn't play major minutes). He came back and then a couple of weeks his back started acting up on him.

And his confidence is just low right now. Now it's to the point where he thinks about it every time he misses and it just affects everything else he does. Yesterday he starts off slow, but in the 3rd quarter he and Derrick start getting going a bit and Terry responds by benching both of them. Even Ricky didn't get why he did that. Terry Porter doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

He hasn't played well. Simple as that. Combined with everything else that's going on with this team it's really killed the season. He'll be fine next year once he's 100% ready and the team's 100% ready. They need him to be. Everything rests on that.

:russ: im not surprised by this

 Rick was out because of the death of his wife's mom last year and he missed the 2nd game of the season. Terry Porter was acting head coach. The difference between him and Rick is so abundantly evident. Porter's not a bad assistant. I'd NEVER ever wanna see him get a head coaching job anywhere except for a team I hate. He has no pulse on what's going on. It got to the point where they started asking Chris Johnson to create for himself when Heroball wasn't getting anywhere. Rick woulda been pulled JJ for that shyt and kept the game close by leaving Ricky in there (he would have kept Derrick on the bench, but that's also been my major issue with Adelman all this time).

It's obvious he isn't a hunnid, but he's still averaging 22 minutes and only making 1 FG a game. If your supposed 'leader' and franchise player can only muster the aforementioned production over what is a decent amount of time back from injury - there's basically no hope for your team now or in the future.
