Wassup with the Clipse and drug dealing?

The clipse are known for rapping about drugs

they always allude to making money off of selling drugs...but then again, every other rapper does

but a few years ago a group of people who according to Pusha T where close friends of the Clipse got locked up for running a drug enterprise

and in this interview with vladtv, Pusha T mentioned how his name was in the indictment and when asked if he was worried at one point he said "it was gonna be what it was gonna be"

anyone got any info on the indictment...heard it was public record

yall think the clipse were really bout that life?

I think they probably where just rapping about the things surrounding them....they probably where just rapping from the perspective of their drug dealing friends

Fun fact

Pusha T got his rap name from Pharrell. He used to be at the studio listening to the music and shyt and he'd always have to go make a run. Then Pharrell started to call him Pusha and that's where his rap name came from.

Clipse basically some small time runners as exemplified by this story.

Their manager might have been heavy in the game but they were some low level hand to hand dudes.

but speaking on the highlighted part...how did this Anthony Gonzalez dude help out the clipse?

because its interesting to me how allot of these rappers come in the game being sponsored by drug dealers
