Watching '96 WWE and I didn't know Stone Cold was this good.

Rock, Austin and Punk are probably in my top-3.

Are all

No argument

No case to be made

Better than CM Punk on the mic. And I have a lot more in mind but those are tier ZERO especially in comparison
Punk feuded with Vince and Jericho and annihilated both of them.

Hogan had great charisma but some of his promos were hit or miss. I cant place him above Punk for that. But when he was on he was ON.

The purpose of a promo is to talk people into a match, the PPV, the arena, etc

Damn near NOBODY was on hulks level for thst

Hulkamania was literally Hogan barking fans into a frenzy, and flexing. There is no comparison between he and cm punk.

CM Punk also got thrashed on the mic by Miz, Kevin Nash and HHH.

Its not a rap battle, its about who can consistently put out quality promos over an extended period of time. Punk had a good run, but is lack of longevity hurt him when talking about the best of the best.

1996/97 was probably the best years for Austin because he was hungry as hell. Dude didn't give a damn about anybody but himself. His feud with Bret Hart will forever be my favorite feud in the WWF/E because it felt natural even though they were cool with each other. Once Austin and Mcmahon became a thing, I stopped giving a shyt about the character.

Seriously, dude went up in Pillman's crib and almost got his head blown off:lupe::krs::ooh:. The mark in me was like :ohhh:Pillman is really going to kill Austin.

Man....96/97 Attitude era>>>>>>98-01 Mcmahon circle jerk
