Zig reminds me of a Coli breh.

In all seriousness, it's clear that deep down he has something of a good heart, he's just a dumb ass who's doing too much in terms of chasing respect and power.

Season 2, although it does have a different pace, so far I feel that it is important to watch as you can see the initial cracks in the Barksdale clan's fortress. Even Stringer is starting to lose the composure I initially respected him for.

You weren't kidding. This Eastern European thing kinda comes out of nowhere. They really shoehorned them into the plot.

I don't think the producers were trying to gain a white audience with season 2. Not all dope boys are black.

"We don't own any poppy fields." - Nino Brown

"We are not the ones flying and shipping that shyt up in here." - Furious Styles

Season 2 was important because it displayed the real players involved in the dope game. Them foreigners bringing bulk product into the country and the docks were the perfect place to smuggle some shyt.

People hate on Season 2, but I thought it fit great to show there was strife in parts of the city. shyt gets real from the first season. I like watching people first reaction to that show.

S2 explains what's happening in America today in 2018. The death of manufacturing, unions and the middle class set the stage for Trump. Not to mention the white resentment factor.

Simon has balls. HBO wanted a whiter cast so he said "you want white people? I'll give you some white people who portray what white people truly are."

Am I slow at catching this or did everyone notice the first time they saw it?

I'm talking mcnulty in season 2. Him trying to find out who the family was of the dead prostitute. Was he genuinely trying to find her family to let them know what happened or was he just doing it to keep his detective skills sharp? Mcnulty was obviously bored being stuck on the boat.

I noticed it when I re-watched the show a couple months ago.

Season 2 complete.

Although this season was different from the first in terms of pacing and theme, it feels sorta bittersweet. This seemed like a case that was just a bit out of the team's reach, showing that law enforcement has much bigger problems looming over their heads regarding foreign crime. It wasn't that bad. I thought it was unwatchable the way it was described here.

People with short attention spans couldn't watch season 2...

I think McNultys ego overshadowed his great detective work at times .... with the dead floater he started out trying to screw Rawls, then he started to actually feel a way about the dead girl n her being a Jane doe.
He couldn't do anything about the other 12 so he took it upon himself to find just that one.....so it was kind of genuine
