Even if the mother isn't with the dad, a boy needs a father in their life. And of course not all single mothers are bad, but the ratchet ones are the target of this shyt.

It's not even about that though, that's the whole point of the piece. I don't think any woman sets out to screw up her children.

It just happens. :yeshrug:

Is anyone here the product of a single mother? If so, would like to hear your response.

I was partially raised by a black single mother, have good friends that were raised by white single mothers, and have worked with kids who were raised by white single mothers.

Every point he made was spot on. Every...single...one.

Will put up some additional thoughts later.

My mom did a damned good job with me. All of my friends never even made it out their hometown or area.

I think I may have met 2 guys that she dated total. Not every single mom is some club addicted thot, though there are plenty out there. My mom quietly got her nursing degree, put food on the table, and raised me in one of the worst cities on the East coast. Had cancer for my last couple of years in high school - we found out late. I understand that my mom might not be the norm but she did damned good given the hand she was dealt.

My dad ran a real-estate company, was a preacher, and college educated. Great guy until you get to know him. :francis:

This thread isn't even right brehs.
Completely serious.

Tarring the many solo mothers with this ish is real ugly, and I come from a two parent household.

Stuff like this makes me think some dudes out here really do hate women.
It is fukked up, but its also how you can tell too many people in general live through social media. The people doing work ain't got time or the energy nor do they need the attention from dropping a status or 'raising the kids xoxo' pic every day.

People out there making shyt happen give two shyts about an instagram, dating website, or snapchat. And they're twice as fast to cut people off for wasting their time too.

There was a girl in my high school that got pregnant. Dime. But pretty much the entire graduating class wrote her off as DOOMED :heh: fast-forward, she got two cars, graduated after working her ass off between community college and her banking gig, and her son is healthy and happy and enrolled in a private school. I was always cool with her, so its just kinda crazy to see how her priorities were just different. I WILL say that its not as common as I'd like to see, but success in general isn't as common as I'd like to see. Its hard out here for everyone. If you got kids, harder. If you're doing it solo, harder still. If you're black on top of that, well damn. So props to the ones who do it right. They deserve it.

I don't hate Women, I just call shyt as I see it and revel in the stats :yeshrug:

70% of Black households are led by Single Black Mothers. Whether you like it or not they are the back bone of our community. And like Tommy Sotomayor just said in his latest video, well it look like that spine got some serious Scoliosis goin' on judging by the results we see out in these streets nationwide my negro! :russ:

Look my Momma did a good job, always tip my hat off to her... But if it wasn't for my Pops and many other Male role models I had, I wouldn't be half the Man I am today. :mjcry:

Point is...A human society needs the Mother AND the Father contrary to popular belief...

Everything you posted is true. I can give an analysis of each one. They DEFINITELY destroy relationships that their sons have. My heart aches for those kids. Some single mothers are just pathetic.
