Shouts to @tremonthustler1 for the title, but it is always subject to change.
The Boys from The Bronx are byke once again after a relatively successful season that began with sky high expectations-100 wins. WC victory, emerging youngins. But ended in disappointment with Boston clinching the division at The Stadium, thrashing us in 4 in the divisional round, once again spraying champagne in the Bronx, and ultimately another championship smh.
After having the luxury tax reset, and needs to be addressed, a huge offseason was on the horizon, as promised by Hal. What resulted was solid, but not earth-shattering moves. Depending on who asked, this winter was either A)great, B)efficient, C)Low-key, or D)cheap, and the last option was the one that was heard the loudest.
Questions: Is this rotation a title-worthy one? How will Didi fare coming back from TJS? The progression of Gleyber Day and Miggy, especially the latter defensively. Is it Luke Voit, or was it Fluke Voit? Will Humpty Dumpty Birdy last til opening day? Will Sevy avoid another 2nd-half meltdown? Does the concussion bug follow Clint Frazier? Does Jeter's illegitimate son Tulo escape out the Larry Holmes Resort? Does Paxton elevate to a frontline starter?
I have to separate these questions: Does ComPiler Stanton stop choking and take the pressure off Judge? And does Puppet Man elevate himself from glorified intern to somewhat competent? don't hold your breath.
And with that, welcome to the Yankees thread
