Expectations are going to be unbearably high for the next 4 seasons.

The farm system has been loaded up on the lower levels with high risk/high reward players the past two seasons in preparation for this run.

Depth wise on the major league level/AAA level it's the deepest team they have put together maybe since 2001-2003.

Hopefully the manager does better in year 2 & Cashman doesn't make any trades during the dead line that will come back and bite them in the future IF they fail to win a championship this season.

Failure this year means Boone needs to be elsewhere in 2020, and this team still badly needs new contact hitters. The sluggers shouldn’t be posting the highest OBP’s and batting averages on the team like last year, nor should their top power hitter be second in the order with context hitters behind him. The starting pitching goes without saying.

From what I've been reading it seems that Hicks will be leading off. Not sure who will be batting second but you would think it would make sense for Judge/Stanton/Sanchez to be batting 4/5/6.

I dont know.. this offense should score 850-950 runs if healthy regardless of line up position... but for whatever reason I feel that it won't be maximized to it's TRUE potential.

Hopefully the rotation and bullpen holds up this year. I like the trade for Paxton and I like that we brought back Britton and got Ottavino

Between trading for Paxton, re-signing Happ & Britton, and signing Ottavino & DJL, that's a quality offseason for a 100 win team that literally lost nobody
