Let's be real. They're gonna let Didi walk, they've already drafted TWO possible replacements for Gary in Breaux and Seigler and why would Judge age any better than Stanton? They basically saved their money for Aaron fukking Hicks and year-to-year service for Brett Gardner.

Extends Hicks who is a streaky as fukk and injury prone, keeps bringing back Gardner, had to be forced into Lemahieu, traded for Stanton when we didn't need him and absorbed his shytty contract. Cashman is a trash GM.

Starlin Castro and a mediocre prospect for Stanton. You take that deal every time, especially when Torres was set to come up to the big leagues. There’s no reason not to. It’s not like Castro would still be a regular in the lineup with the infield they’ve got. Hicks getting a 7 year deal was horrific though

Aside from the hot first month he had in 2018, he’s basically been a .240 hitter the last 2 years for a team with a big surplus of quality infielders
. As is, the only reason they might bring him back considering that is the need for left handed batters in the lineup considering that they also have Andujar, Torres, Luke, Gio, and DJ on the roster. Sucks, but it is what it is.
