Problem is, we don't have a real backup CF in the current OF options either. Tauchman is probably just a one year deal, and only a corner OF. Frazier done talked his way out of the pinstripes. He's trade bait right now.
Gardner coming back as a 4th OF next season....is not preferable, but possible. Defensively, Gardner can, at least, man CF in a pinch, when Hicks gets hurt.
CC is done after this year, so we'll need a SP for real, if not now, then next offseason.
I guess the question will be, who's the 2020 3B, LeMathieu, Gio Urshela, or Andujar? Crazy problem to have now.

That is not his future on this team. DH is gonna be a rotation of Voit, Judge, and Stanton. It could work in the medium term but long term he only sticks on this team playing 3rd.
