The worst answer he gave was regarding Verlander because he low key admitted winning a title wasn’t as important as getting under the tax.

I've been known that , reasons like that alone was one of the reasons I didn't attend a major league game at the stadium this past season.

I went to a few Trenton Thunder games instead.

Technically he wasn't lying, our average with RISP did us in, Houston just got more "clutch hits" than what we did. What hurt us was not having Betances and German, having to run out there the same tired arms cost us a couple of pivotal games.

I never like the Stanton trade and it this point for us to get rid off, we would need to pick up some of that salary and trade a prospect or two to offload. If we can turn around and get a legit pitcher then fukk it lets do it. I just want Stanton of this team and would start a gofundme page for moving expense if he opted out.

We need a lot more put the balls in play type hitters....guys like Paul O'Neil and Scotty Brosius.

When Britton comes out and says you can't overuse the pen and starting pitching is the way to go, and he comes out saying SP wasn't the issue, he looks like a clown

and that’s where the divide from this crew and George really is because George would’ve spent they money especially with a squad like this.

why give out so many trash contracts and the act like the money fountain is all dried up when pitching comes into play.

Same reason the cowboys never win shyt . Same reason the chargers never won shyt with AJ smith as GM . Same reason the Vikings flamed out under Brad Childress . Same reason Chip Kelly flamed out with the eagles . Same reason every assistant is a disaster as a head coach or GM away from him. Same reason Vince McMahon hasn’t had a crossover star with mainstream appeal while ratings and fan interest have declined for 18 straight years
