Well, you know, you can raise African American numbers by encouraging African immigrants who come to the United States, similar to how whiteness has absorbed French, Italian, Scots-Irish etc. into whiteness.

Within a generation or two, the children or grand-children of African immigrants lose touch with relatives in Africa (they don't speak their ancestral language, they marry an African American, they don't regularly visit their ancestral town) and generally become part of a general blackness (ex. Barack Obama and his marriage to Michelle, an African American).

But Tariq wants to keep us weak and divided.

I know so many black successful men and women who came from overseas into the USA and never fell into the trap of blaming people why they aren’t successful. The people who you see that are not succesful are because they want to stay in poverty,engage in violent culture and not move away from a bad neighborhood they live in and start from 0 working to make it out here. At no point did I say Latinos built America.

Candidly, many people “built America”. No one group owns this country or should try subtly marginalize others by claiming “foundational”. Unless we are using different definitions for foundational in 2023.

But I would say that if there was some sort of silly ranking of it, Latinos wouldn’t be at the top of the list.

There is no list on who built the U.S. only one ethnic group did and that’s Black American. The list of foundational Americans is Black American native American and white American. If someone has 1 grandparent from Africa, but the rest are African-Americans, that person can never be African-American?
