I think if this came out in 96, Kurupt could have been bigger. By the time it was released, the shift in the culture was drifting back to the East Coast.Classic. This came out two years too late though. This would’ve been a bigger hit around 95/96.

I was raised on East and West Coast rap. My pops did PR for Interscope and some other places so we got a bunch of free CD's I remember my dad playing this in his Jag asking me what I thought. Smooth as hell.
