We all learn at a different pace. Recognize there was a time when you couldn't name 5 African Kings and Queens either.
...I have a theory on why this is......Psychologically most Black folks are so mystified by the Christian religion that they refuse to even acknowledge their African roots because they have been brainwashed into believing that Africans were worshipping idols.
I disagree with your reasonin'. There are Black folks of all faiths and none that can't past this challenge. And there are Christians who can. Religion is a symptom & a weapon, not a cause.

You disagree but I have proof...ask most Black folks about Egypt and they will bring up Pharoah from The Bible...They cant even go in depth about the history. They cant even name who the Pharoah was. You disagree but I say this from experience not speculation.

No.

There is no excuse in the social media era. This era that we are in started in 2009 when Smartphones became the norm and Facebook became bigger then Myspace...within that time what kind of research have people been doing?? We are 7 years from 2009 and the fact that most Black folks cant name 5 African kings or Queens even with all this access to such info.

But it doesnt stop their...Most Black folks arent familiar with certain Laws and Rights....knowing African names is lightwork and a signal of what Black folks arent paying attention to.

ok and instead of you putting them on to game you the type to try a play a nikka because they don't know shyt now i can see if a person come to you talking all this black back to africa shyt and you ask them that and they can't respond then ok i see your point but just to be on some all y'all black people is dumb shyt is corny my dude you either teach shyt or don't say anything imo I'm not one for trying to make other black people look or feel stupid(thats what white people do) when i could show them something just my opinion though keep relying for your people to get shyt from the internet instead of trying to show them yourself

Where did u get this notion that I'm trying to 'play a nikka'?? I dont have that kind of reputation so I dont know why u would assume that. You are responding emotionally and not rationally. I'm pointing something out and the reality of it hit you hard, thats why you think I'm 'playing a nikka out.' But in actuallity I'm pointing something out.

Am i an african king brehs? :lupe:

You fall in the category of the few who are conscious of history. This is a good thing. It would be cool if we could make acknowledging the those in royalty on a more popular level. That way when you hear Black folks say that cliche line of "we come from Black kings and queens" we can have some foundation to go along with it instead of sounding like parrots spewing cliches.

You're lookin' at one of the symptoms, not the causes. Christianity is not WHY folks don't know their history. It just one of the weapons used to separate us from it.

And instead of insultin', why not just teach?

I don't think most white people can name 5 kings or 5 queens from Europe either

Pop culture has rammed the following names into our psyche in America.

King Henry The 8th
Queen Elizabeth(The old school one and the current one)
King James
Alexander The Great.
Princess Diana
Prince Charles
