Media is a social resource that takes economics to build. But to answer your question, OWN & BET(when Johnson owned it). And Bill Cosby was negotiatin' to buy NBC. The money is there. The knowledge and collective thought are not.

There are several reasons for the higher rate of unemployement for Blacks. Racism is probably the biggest. The rest are more symptoms than reasons.

Yes...I do know what happens when we(as humans) become more radical. We saw it when Greece finally conquered Egypt and when the barbarians finally conquered Rome and when the British colonized North America. It creates a takeover and new power structure that thrives.

As a poeple, we put a lot of money into the system. And there are some very wealthy among us. The system relies on our money, but also our fears & ignorance.

We've accomplished some great feats in the past. Bus Boycotts, for example. Simply takin' our money out of that system made drastic changes in 1 year's time. And that was mostly poorer bus ridin' workers. Imagin' poolin' our resources today and aimin' that power at other branches of the system... politics, bankin', media, fashion/retail, etc. What makes you think what worked before wouldn't work now?

When it comes to African kings, without Googling, most Black folks could probably pull a Shaka Zulu out their ass. I once had someone tell me Haile Selassie was a king. I then explained that he was "an Emperor" and there is a difference.

The most popular African king in pop culture is King Tut. Not King Ahmose or King Oba Ewuare or King Mentuhotep or King Sonni Ali or King Endubis or King Narmer or King Osei Kofi Tutu or King Thutmosis III or King Sundiata Keita yet they all put in more work. Kings Tuts' popularity comes from the discovery of his mummy in the 20th century which drew interest in pop culture...Thats why he is more popular. But King Tuts dad actually put in more work then he did even tho King Tut did restore things back to the way they were after his pops changed things around. King Taharqa is all up in The Bible but most Black folks dont even acknowledge.


As for Queens...Most might be able to pull a Cleopatra out their ass.....Maybe a Nefertitti or Nefertari and thats about it. No Queen Yaa Asantewaa no Queen Nzinga, No Queen Tiye no Queen Nehanda, no Queen Nandi, no Queen Amina, no Queen Amanirenas no Queen Hatshepsut( Me personally I learned about these Kings and Queens in the 90's when I was looking for names of African Royalty to name my unborn child and never forgot them)



I been throwing the "name 5 African Kings and Queens" challenge around for a while now and most Black folks cant do it. I have a theory on why this is......Psychologically most Black folks are so mystified by the Christian religion that they refuse to even acknowledge their African roots because they have been brainwashed into believing that Africans were worshipping idols.

A lot of black Christians believe slavery was necessary to bring us to christ when you back them into a philosophical corner

Basically I'm saying its a bad look to say something cliche with no knowledge or background history on the cliche being said.

I was listening to an interview of the oldest surviving slave, cant recall his name, who claimed we do not come from African royalty. The practice was to behead all royal family members instead of enslaving them out of respect. Royal blood never made it on the boats.

Of course he could have been fed this lie or just bullshytting. But he definitely said it. I should also add what i heard was a recording from the seventies shortly before he died.

Furthermore are Africans reaching out to educate African diaspora on African history? Are they preserving their own history and not letting outsiders tell their story? Questions that need answers.....
