You're lookin' at one of the symptoms, not the causes. Christianity is not WHY folks don't know their history. It just one of the weapons used to separate us from it.

And instead of insultin', why not just teach?
Exactly, anyone who berates a black Americans for not knowing about African history either is self serving c*nt who gets a kick out off being "smarter" then everyone or doesn't even follow history themselves and has never set foot in an a American public school.

another black people are dumb thread. take this shyt somewhere else. like the trash can. fukk you and your irony.

Naa...U just missed the point and are responding emotionally. On a personal level i could never go in such a direction. When Farrakhan said that we are caught up in liking things the more filthy it is....He was pointing out an issue he wasnt saying we are evil.

No ones teaches African history in American education school systems and you barley learn about them in college, how are African Americans who don't even know their own ancestry suppose to know about Africa?..

Exactly.

So why are Black folks so caught up in a cliche of saying we come from kings and queens when they cant name 5?

Thats my whole point.

I say educate yourself about Black royalty before you spew a cliche that you cant even back.

You missed my whole point. I never berated. I pointed out a problem gave its sympton and a possible solution. The problem is Black folks being caught up in saying a cliche that they cant even back up with proper knowledge.

Just ask yourself this question. The Sphinx is one of the most popular man made images ever. It has been a popular figure for centuries. Yet most people let along Black folks dont even know his name and he was a Black king.

How sad is it when one of the most popular images of a Black king is unknown to most Black folks???

Of course most of us don't know this and YOU KNOW WHY that is. Those of us who have learned this stuff need to be showing it to other African Americans instead trying to shame them. Each one teach one

No! You missed the point.

The point is....why blindly say a cliche that you have no info on??

You even said it yourself....most Black folks dont have this info.......so my question is 'why say a bullsh*t ass cliche that you have no info on??'

Thats like me bragging about Hawaii being such a good place to visit but I never been there or a virgin bragging about all his sexual encounters.

And like I said YOU KNOW WHY WE ARE LIKE THIS.

It's like David Banner said, if u plant a virus inside a computer and then that computer doesn't function the way it should do you blame the computer or the virus that corrupted it?

Spread the knowledge you have instead of trying to prop yourself up with it. This is not the way to enlighten those who need it

Thats a terrible analogy because humans spew empty cliches all day everyday, irregardless of race.

One of the most dumbest cliches ever "Money is the root of all evil" yet most dont know that the Bible never even says that...the Bible says "The love of money is the root of all evil" and those are 2 different things. Yet people spit that misquoted cliche all the time.

Again..the bottom line is Black people being caught up in an empty cliche

Yes we may be caught up but it's up to the enlightened to correct those who don't know any better. I'm not disagreeing with the problem youre stating, I disagree with your method of trying to correct it. Your just bytching about the problem while providing no real way of fixing it.

Each one teach one, this could've been a very educational thread if it were coming from someone trying to teach instead of shame

Wrong wrong wrong

This is not a website for education. You have a lot of educated fools here but this site is not for that at all. This site is not for enlightenment...Social media itself is full of the stupidest people on earth that think they are intellegent.

No....This is a site for fukkery. Fukkery is what flies...I did a Million Man March thread when I went and no one cared. But When I post a picture of an old school porn star and what she looks like now, it gets a feature. Aint nobody trying to get educated on a site full of fukkery....You want education go to school.

And aint no one bytching about a thing. I'm pointing something out...Thats a big difference from bytching about something. There is no way of fixing such a problem. Ignorance has been around since the beginning and will continue. People are gonna keep saying empty cliches way after u and I die.
