Frank had a 3 year honey-moon but he's finally gonna get some of the heat that comes with the "fearless" approach, Doug's been getting it all year

If that were the issue, then I would have to side with Doug. If you don’t trust Pederson to run his offense (calling the plays, assembling the coaching staff, etc.), then there is no point to him being the Head Coach. Forcing Pederson to give up play-calling or choosing OCs for him sends a message that he’s just a lame duck HC, and that’s not fair to him. It also doesn’t solve any problems long-term.

And if Pederson is going to be fired (which I would have been fine with, honestly ), then Lurie fukked up not doing it sooner. The hot HC candidates have all been interviewing and have probably made up their minds already as to which teams they’re going to join. Not to mention, what head coach is going to want to come to a team that won’t even let him pick his own coaching staff? Especially when that HC is going to have next to no talent to work with on either side of the ball.

God, what a fukking mess this team has become in such a short time. And Howie Roseman, the man largely responsible for that mess, is the only person on the team with job security.

i'm not completely pleased with pedersen but if we fire him in a COVID year after hes made the playoffs 3 straight times and won a superbowl...then we are idiots.
its simple as that. he should get 2 seasons to right the ship

that being said...Pedersen cant be dumb enough to make whoever the fukk that guy is his OC. Get a solid, experienced playcaller like Anthony Lynn or something. fukk is wrong with him?

Where does K'von fit in, in your idea of the secondary?

You think he warrants more play time but maybe not a starter yet? Or maybe you think less play time?

I still want to get a long look at him.

not sure what to make of kvon to be honest. it was somewhat telling at his lack of snaps all the way until the mcleod injury. even epps getting more snaps than him is concerning. i dont see him as anything other than a rotational piece atm but a strong offseason and a DC who believes in him could easily change that.

I think Lurie wants Press Taylor outta here (and doesnt trust Doug ability to coach his coaches and get on them...which is a fair criticism from what I heard) and Doug want to keep him...I also wonder if Luries think Doug should give up play calling
if they fire Doug...my hunch says they promote Duce to HC so Lurie can hire a real OC ( Since Duce never called plays- he wont demand that duty)
