I get frustrated every time I see Jefferson because I was screaming for them to pick him. I thought it was a sure thing after not getting lamb. This team has a weird history with wide receivers. I hope raegor works out though. Dudes ball direction skills are trash. It’s like he can’t track the ball that well.

Raegor will not be better than Jefferson. That was a terrible pick. I knew it from day one. We drafted another speedy receiver with shaky hands. :francis:

Lurie knows as well as anyone about the process and the details because he’s a part of it – intimately. He lobbied for wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside in the second round of the 2019 draft and got Pederson to go along, per sources. Roseman, who wanted Parrish Campbell, must have figured he had no choice but to sign off.
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie fails to hold up mirror and hold GM Howie Roseman accountable

:dwillhuh: Laurie out here lobbying for players like that?

:mjlol: imagine if we took Parrish Campbell, we may have the same results with a completely different type of player

Y’all fukking with Lincoln Riley??

Yeah but not over Eric Bienemy.

We also havent talked about the possibility of Doug being ass for the next few years. He has the ring and will always be loved for that but him fukking up is a possibility because sometimes you lose when you gamble. Having Hurts pick up NFL experience and already knowing his system could be good asset to have in a Lincoln Riley pursuit in the future.
I remember saying this this offseason and #byrdgang tried to kill a nikka for it.

In fairness, Hurts was even less accurate as a passer over his 5.5 games than Wentz. I'm not sold on either of them as a franchise QB going forward. If a quarterback I like is available at #6, then I'm strongly considering them.

As for head coaches, I think it's pretty clear that the Eagles aren't getting one of the top candidates. Brian Daboll, Eric Bienemy, Arthur Smith, Joe Brady... they have a half-dozen teams lining up for them, with their QB situations figured out, cap space to spend, and actual weapons on offense. There is no reason for any of those guys to come here, especially with a GM who can evade responsibility for building a 4-11-1 team.

I was a proponent for firing Pederson, but Roseman needed to go with him. Let a new HC figure out if Wentz is worth salvaging or not. Now it honestly looks like Pederson was just a scapegoat. And what HC with actual options is going to want to walk into that? :snoop:

Dream scenerio for me

Eric Bienemy as head coach and Duce as Offensive Coordinator

Duce as head coach

:ahh:

Fukk a Mike Kafka

:hhh:
@NYSTATEOFMIND and @Box Factory posts on why Duce is the best candidate considering our current situation convinced me he's the right person for the job

We heading for a rebuild and the org is in shambles, but from how Jenk, BG both spoke highly of him and we need that commanding figure who has that respect and how he handled the 2017 Rbs where you had two big personalities in Blount and Jay Train and managed them both perfectly and had Clement have a good year. Just look how close they all of them were, one of them scored and they will all on the enzone celebrating

Duce got my support
