I'm surprised you Americans are liking the electrics so far, isn't the distance limits a problem for those who in rural areas
People that live in rural areas are charging at home. Plus aint nothing to do out there anyway so they prob dont have to worry about running low.

The ioniq 6 is beautiful. I almost pulled the trigger on it yesterday but have had bad experiences with Hyundai, and the service centers in my city stay booked up through 4 weeks, smh so ended up not going with it.

EV6 is nice, my cuz has one. But I didn’t consider because the state rebate for EVs (worth $3,000) only applies to cars that msrp under 50k.Ioniq instead of the Kia EV6

What kinda pricing were they offering you? What year, 2023 or 2024?
Are they still offering the free home charger? Are they still giving $5K off?

And yea they still have the free home charger. Which is a sweet deal even with Electrum kinda padding the installation numbers.
I was going to go with the RWD 2023 SEL so I could get the 3k state rebate. The 2023 AWDs were priced over 50k so didn’t qualify.
I would’ve leased, so they were passing the $7,500 ev rebate through the lease as opposed the 5k. The outgoing models were leasing better than the 2024s also, I had an offer on the table was 36 months 10k miles for $448 per.
I guess I got shooked reading about the potential 12v and iccu issues on Reddit. Which ain’t that serious if you got a good service center locally. But these nikkas out here man smh
