The great thing about AJATT is that you get out of it as much as you put into it. If you're serious about learning, you eventually will learn the language. I actually know two people personally irl who've learned through AJATT principles and have become fluent. One guy is now currently living in Japan teaching English, and the other guy just came back from a week long trip. And learning a new language guaranteed within a a year and a half? By using the things I already love? shyt, how could I refuse?
Those YouTubers are really interesting to watch, because you can see the journey over time, and it's incredibly motivational. I'm a beginner (I could've been fluent by now, but I kept starting over and over again smh), so seeing that it really doesn't take all that long at all is dope as hell for me to hear. And the best part is that you can apply this to any language at all, too. It's incredible.
