at this thread. the coli is makin more and more proud by the day. i tried to speak on this same shyt on the other site and got met with a buncha hostility. its good to know people seein this same shyt too though, i guess i shoulda been postin in tlr rather than ktl. but i think i major part of this is RECOGNIZING the fact that corporations, whether its the nba or nike/adidas, etc WANT young nikkas buyin into this shyt... cuz the more there is, the greater the likelihood that one makes it and becomes a sponsor, better yet a puppet encouragin more black youth to pursue same shyt. and the cycle just goes on and on. star players are the real prize. everyone else is just profit/expendables.

it's not hard to understand, it's all that kids see on television. it's who everybody talks about at school. agents/lawyers/managers aren't being talked about. shyt, i was in 8th grade thinking i'd be famous before 9th grade. i was delusional as fukk. i mean, i could and can spit eliteness but nobody's trying to hear a 13 year old white kid. no record deal, no football scholarship (never even had a scout checking me out ), now i'm just getting my degree, content with living a simple life, trying to do good.

i consider myself lucky that my dreams were crushed at a young age.
