Whats the history of the Hamilton?

Decent number of our people escaped bondage and moved to Hamilton back in the day. In particular Hamilton Mountain. They had a community called Little Africa and everything. It had its own economy and all that. Cacs had always been there but around the late 1800s a whole bunch of Euro cacs starting moving in and they took all of our shyt. Businesses, jobs, housing and all that other shyt. Fast forward a few more decades and then the KKK popped up (yes Canada has the Klan too) and they started doing Klan type shyt- burning crosses, kidnapping folks and just overall doing some down south Jim Crow shyt. The Klan was real active in that area too. They was up there with the shyts up until damn near WW2. Black folks would come up missing and the local police wouldn't lift a finger. So my great great grandfather and his brothers said fukk this bullshyt and moved either to Chicago or Detroit in the early 1900s. Hamilton was like as far as you could go on the Underground Railroad, that was last stop basically. So there was a decent sized community of ex slaves and other folks from the West Indies going back to way before the civil war
