So you want this guy to play a pharaoh?

somali's were definitely not depicted as being part of that branch, in fact I neve mentioned Somalis, so that should tell you something. Sudan and Ethiopia were literally part of that region

Kenya is in east Africa. Why couldn’t he look Kenyan?
my bad, I also forgot about Kenya. jesus couldn't have looked Kenyan though, it was stated part of his family may have came from parts of Abyssinia. that is modern day Ethiopia fam

All West African don't look the same.

Senegalese look a lot like Sudanese people, and that's West and East. Why? Because they have common origins :manny:
this is also true
Because black folks, over here, can't give up that Jesus pill. They have to need to see themselves in those stories. My dad's church has a big poster inside with the following text, "We Are The True Hebrews." I've heard the same stuff coming out of there that I've heard on a sidewalk with a Hebrew Israelite shouting in a bullhorn.

There's already a rich history to be proud of in W. Africa without inventing any.
and that's what angers me, west Africa has a super rich history but mfers rather gloss over it to be a group of people that they aren't. The kingdom of mali was beaitful, the kingdom of benin was rich, the nri kingdom was very diplomatic but people are really stuck on egypts as if its the only bastion of knowledge within Africa.

West africans were also very into numerology and still are that's why you see this kids killin it in math competitions
where you see folks depicting hebrews as resembling central/west africans¿*
this whole board bro, Hebrew Israelites especially love to pander this nonsense
folks tryna project a perspective euros brought about relatively recently onto how things were seen by the ancestors*
it's nonsensical, im studying this from the beginning and I started scratching my head like, some of the stuff people are saying don't make sense

but that’s the progression of humanity regardless, like how even though the certain ethnic groups in Asia were originally black we wouldn’t consider them that at this point in time

No. My Tribe literally got to their current place within the last 250 years. You're trying to dismiss the fact people who are currently living in West Africa had ancestors who lived in Kemet on some "well at some point even europeans were in Africa", no thats not even the same argument.

last 250? how? if modern man started in Kenya and it spread through out your "tribe" (god I hate that word) should have been establish all the way back into a couple thousand years BC.

Even though all of Igbo history isn't recorded we still have findings that go into ~900 BC, and yes that exactly my last point which is why I think that whole topic to begin with sounds crazy.

Why are you speaking of West Africa in a Monolith? And why do you hate the term Tribe when Tribe is a concept used by practitioners? Igbo is an Ethnic group from my understanding so why would you compare what they have done to a Tribe? and in 900 BC chances are the Igbo ethnic group was part of another group before breaking off, so those findings representing things isn't really saying much being that Igbos didnt just appear out of thin air in the 1960s. And on that, Igbos are one of HUNDREDS of different groups in Africa, so if you are Igbo then you can only speak for yourself and you cant place your history on others as if it is law.

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool." - Richard Feynman

It's called observer bias (see what you want to see, instead of the truth).
The “truth” is relative. There’s nothing wrong with someone one seeing themselves in any faith, religion they sign up for.

Because most west africans follow a certain pattern format, we are not all the same but there's a certain pattern or rythmn that takes place

I don't know about you but tribe for most people in west Africa has come to mean ethnic group which is honestly the wrong word to use

again if you go to anywhere in west Africa for instance Nigerian and ask people what "tribe" they are from they will tell you their ethinic group instead for eg like Yoruba, Igbo, Fulani hausa etc.

to my knowledge if im following the history or the language nope, they kinda started out as their own thing and other groups branched out from us

True but I went to school in amongst Yoruba people between 12-15 also my ex is ashanti, and my other ex is wollof and what I've noticed is most west africans follow this format also

:russ:

:stopitslime: and look at how following Abrahamic religions has lead us absolutely no where concrete as a whole

I mean eat, sleep, pray do you but what tangible progress has their been :francis:
I don't know man it's kinda weird when you ascribe people to things they are not

divisive in which way, nikka you just seen @The Chief say that all of Africa is not a monolith and which I agree with him but there is a pattern amongst us

Tribe is a Sub Group of Ethnic Group, Clans are Sub Groups of Tribes. I think you should just stick to whatever yall got going on in Nigeria.
