Another thing I forgot to mention about the black on black crime argument is that it is the biggest example of a strawman ever:

When black people are complaining about the law enforcement killings, they're also complaining about how some of them get away without proper punishment, along with the lack of accountability... meanwhile in a lot of those black on black crime moments, the murders go to jail pretty much every time.

So when you add in the fact that Black intraracial killings are at a similar level to white intraracial killings... it becomes a truly deflective and useless response that ends up changing the argument rather than discussing it.
