What reason did you post this?![]()
reinforcement of the statement made in the press conference.
" we need to deal with our own internal issues "
Richard Sherman

Sherman did no damage to the black community by expressing his opinion. None. So why jump on his back so heavily?
Not guys like Richard Sherman. Not hopping on the hate bandwagon on this one.You keep convientley skipping over what he said right after that
He said "before we point fingers at others" why do keep ignoring that key part?
You are either playing dumb, trolling or flat out ignorant.
public relations snafu, and i get those undercover c*c vibes from your post.
Your trolling is hilarious
Just to be clear, black interracial killings are NOT at a similar level to white interracial killings. The number that is similar is the percentage of killings that are done within the races. What's drastically different is the rates - for every 100,000 white people, 2.6 are murdered. For every 100,000 blacks, 18.3 are murdered.Another thing I forgot to mention about the black on black crime argument is that it is the biggest example of a strawman ever:
When black people are complaining about the law enforcement killings, they're also complaining about how some of them get away without proper punishment, along with the lack of accountability... meanwhile in a lot of those black on black crime moments, the murders go to jail pretty much every time.
So when you add in the fact that Black intraracial killings are at a similar level to white intraracial killings... it becomes a truly deflective and useless response that ends up changing the argument rather than discussing it.

Do I agree with Sherman? No. Am I disappointed by his perspective, or lack thereof? Yes.
It's the same story with Kendrick. Conflating the issue of police brutality against blacks with black on black violence will always be wrong. Always.
But I'm not shocked by Richard's opinion, and I'm not sure why anyone would be.
His thoughts are shared by most any black person who would consider themselves "aware" in America. That is, any black person not on the Coli.
We are a group of some of the most socially conscious blacks on the face of the planet, I really do believe that, and it's goddamn beautiful to be apart of it.
However, I will never agree with this site's venomous attitude towards any black person who's thoughts don't line up exactly with our's.
Richard Sherman is not a lesser black man than any one of us for believing "there are good cops out there", or "the black community has some problems it should address".
It's ridiculous to think otherwise. Ease up brehs.Sherman did no damage to the black community by expressing his opinion. None. So why jump on his back so heavily?
I'm just not ready to label Sherm a c00n yet. And not just because I am a fan. Maybe I'm just not as willing to cast people out of the black community as quickly as the rest of you.
Nah, the real c00ns are the dope pushers. The men who have 3 children and are fathering none of them. People looking over their own brothers or sisters as partners because they feel their own race is inferior. Not guys like Richard Sherman. Not hopping on the hate bandwagon on this one.
Cats say don't bring up 'black on black' crime when discussing #blacklivesmatter, don't bring up 'black on black' crime after a cop kills a black man, don't bring up 'black on black' crime when talking about the black incarceration rates in America, etc, etc etc
Yeah I get get it but seriously though- Is there ever really a GOOD time to talk about 'black on black' crime without being labeled a c00n??? Especially on this site. Sh*t is getting out of hand. Not even on this Richard Sherman thing but anytime anybody mentions 'black on black' crime niccas get mad as f*ck on here. So when is a good time to discuss how we can call some of these gangbangers and such out and to love ourselves and our community without cats callin' throwing out the c00n label
