R&b is dead because you have R&b artists such as Chris Brown who would rather make Dance and Electropop type songs and pretend that they're rappers then to make real R&b records.I also blame the music industry as well. If they wanted to promote real R&b music they could. But instead they want to promote some white artist's that are basically singing R&b but instead of calling it R&b they just call it Pop music. R&b was still pretty popular up until the early 2010s so for it to be the slump that us in right now is ridiculous.
