WWE Raw rating for the September 26 show versus the U.S. Presidential Debate – Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Monday’s WWE Raw scored a 1.75 rating, down from the 1.97 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 2.478 million viewers, down from the 2.684 million average from last week.

Powell’s POV: Pro Football Talk reported that the Monday Night Football game drew a 5.7 overnight rating and was down 36 percent from last week’s game. Of course, the low numbers for Raw and MNF is due to the U.S. Presidential Debate, which drew more than 80 million viewers. The September 28, 2015 edition of Raw delivered a 2.33 rating with 3.3 million viewers.

Nitro was already sinking fast before GOATsso took over, which the likes of Nash and Flair on the record of saying

You beards love ignoring that

Men lie women lie numbers don't, the rise and fall will ALWAYS be associated with the hiring and exit of GOATsso as the head writer :umad:

Nothing's being ignored, I left the receipts right there. Quit moving goal posts, if Russo was such an expert, not only would he have been able to pop ratings with WCW, but he would have been able to do the same with any other wrestling company. If you're truly great at what you do, you should be able to bring success where ever you go. Russo was a 1 hit wonder. Sometimes it's like that.

Ratings for both WCW and T:flabbynfif:A were beginning to stabilize before his departure, he really hasn't taken a loss

And no shyt the RAW ratings didn't spike overnight when he took over, he had to build the brand up again from scratch and Vince nearly destroyed it with Doink the Clown gimmicks

Why do people hate Russo?

Nitro was a sinking ship. He did get TNA some of their best ratings while he was there. He fathered the attitude era. He should be in the HOF instead neckbeards buy the narrative that hes terrible. Stephanie killed wrestling end of story

He's taken multiple losses. Not sure why people think this his slighting Russo either. He clearly fathered the Attitude era, but he's been Vince R:flabbynsick:sso ever since. It's like he won the super bowl, then went 0-16 for the last 16 years. WWE ratings were good for like 2 years after he left, then did the slow descent we see today.

Yes, built on what GOATsso established, but the slow decline started right after he left

The hatred the beards have for GOATsso makes no sense, especially when all their fondest memories of wrasslin are GOATsso penned stories :mjlol:

Basically it proves that the wwe fan base is just super hardcore fans and kids. NFL is true casuals and a cross section and are more fickle. If the wwe ARE SATISFIED, they should keep doing what they're doing. But if not, and their ability to sell ad space continues to dwindle, Monday proved that the NFL crowd is actually vulnerable and if wwe put on a compelling product with a reason to "event" watch it could grow.

Raw still got murdered by MNF and beat by Love and Hip Hop like always though.

At this point, only the hardcores are watching live on Monday nights and that number is somewhere between 2 or 3 million. Rollins, Owens etc are good at what they do. Very talented. But the characters aren't moving the needle. Something about these dudes. They aint bringing in no new casuals. Sorry

Kevin Sullivan is actually a better booker, by a huge margin. Bischoff is too.
Russo booked some pretty good shows in WCW and TNA but a large majority was some of the worst shyt I've ever witnessed on TV. He can roll good for a month after his infamous "resets" but then he just gets full of himself and tries to outthink the audience and his own mind.

Yeah, I changed what you quoted to reflect bischoff because I remembered how bad some of Sullivan's ideas were, but bischoff was 100x better the Russo. Russo wcw was completely unwatchable.
