Why dont ya'll jus let the rappers be the rappers. And the fans be the fans hmmmmm? :usure:

Everybody is a fukking CEO or curator nowadays :heh:

if you really feel this way about "real life rap" then stop spending money supporting cats like Rick Ross & go support your local MC's and other MC's that rap about the shyt you're talking about.

Back then, it was about being real and showing how you really came up from hard times and now thanks to hard work and skills I've made something of myself. That ghostface single resonates with people because we can relate when Jon Jon peed the bed. Or flaking roaches out the cereal box. It doesn't mean you were weak, this is how we grew up! The rapper would relate to the audience

Nowadays it's about the image. How every rappers life is better than yours. Now the rapper brags to the listener about how much they made. How bad their women are. Can't rap about being broke unless its a comedy rap. Can't rap about the struggle because that image don't sell. We gotta get these fans to spend up their money on trying to dress and live like their favorite rapper even though on the real that rapper might be as broke as his fans

I actually dont wanna hear an artist rapping abt their 9-5 situation. the actuality of their existence is something I'm already deep in for the actual duration of my day. I wanna hear street ish that is being lived by the actual performer of the respective song
