For y'all that do own guns, how regularly do you invite non-shooters to come to the range with you?

I feel like we can do a better job at introducing and inviting newcomers into gun use/ownership.

Can you buy guns online without picking them up from a store?

If you're handy with some simple power tools you can build your own rifles at home. By going this route you don't need to register them either. Totally legal, and totally off the books. Look up "80% Lowers". Since you're in the bay, calgu ns.net is a great resource.

My boy is 37 and black. To be honest he's soft as baby shyt. Nice guy but kinda c00ns it up to get by. I can't say it's his fault . His older bro had a full ride football scholarship and got paralyzed during thanksgiving break of his freshman year in college so since then he and his mom and dad have had to provide 24/7 care for him. Considering my boy was in early HS at the time and his pops passed a couple years later , he's generally lived a very sheltered life.

Anyway his beliefs on black people and guns is the avoidance theory. He believes if we stay as far away from them that we won't kill each other with them and others won't kill us with them.

Anyway I took him hunting. I didn't have him shoot but I brought a shotgun and a rifle I had him carry one while I carried the other and was kind of pushing into his head that guns are a tool. That it wasnt going to accidently go off and that it's safe if you are safe with it .

I've had talks with him when we've kicked it and showed him how guns operate since right now he refuses to go to a training/education class. I've showed him safety techniques and explained to him how various headlines don't make sense without human error.

"Man accidently kills himself while cleaning gun"
"Man's gun accidently goes off kills child "

I'm not trying to make him pro gun I'd rather him be have an understanding about guns and be neutral rather than know nothing and being fully against. You just gotta ease people in slowly .

Have you ever been audited by the ATF breh? I have...and that shyt is nothing to play around with on the dealer end....you might not give a fukk about if all your paperwork is sufficient, but they do.

Do you know how much it costs to even open a gun store? before you even get to start buying the guns to sell?

You're looking at near a million if not more, not to mention gun stores are effectively NIMBY in most black areas.

Yes getting an FFL is extremely difficult.

there are no gun stores allowed in Chicago, so you have to go to the gub stores in the suburbs. I ordered a gun online and had it shipped to a gun dealer. Everytime I go and try it pick it these toothless cacs find something wrong with my gun card or drivers license and say I have to correct this or that. these cacs shouldn't be the middle man to us arming ourselves, as a matter of fact we need black gun and ammunition manufacturers as well.
Closest gun store in the chi is all the way in Riverdale. Or you can go over to Indiana. I was buying my guns from almost wholesale guns which has the best prices and located in Burr ridge off i55 and county line road. Rahm don't want any gun stores or ranges in city limits, so that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

I've taken my pops before. I tried to take my 14 year old daughter, but she had no interest in that.

As far as black gun manufacturers.... you're gonna need more black gunsmiths....and blacks who share that POV.

blacks statistically/ systematically being kept out of STEM is gonna make that a damn near pipe dream..... It's not as easy to make quality guns, or original/semi-original designs as you'd think.

More importantly, when it comes to guns...Blacks are the biggest group leading the charge to disenfranchise blacks from the right to defend themselves...a whole culture shift needs to occur amongst blacks, especially liberal blacks in that regard.

Civilian Force Arms is black owned gun manufacture:

You should also let folks know with that openly talking about this (ghost guns/80% lowers) in gun shops is very frowned upon... It's a very murky subject.

You still need to have proof that you built the gun yourself, and that the lower receiver was not fully finished when you purchased it.
